Important Information about your Mechanical Turk Account

Dear Mechanical Turk Worker,

We would like to inform you about some changes to the Mechanical Turk site.

When you sign-in to Mechanical Turk in the next couple weeks you will be asked to provide your name, address and certify certain tax information required by the US Internal Revenue Service. If you do not provide this information, you will not be allowed to work on Mechanical Turk until you have provided your name, address, and certified the required information. Please refer to the IRS website (www.irs.gov) for more details about tax requirements for international workers.

We also added your Worker ID to your Dashboard page, since we know some Requesters ask you to provide it. This eliminates the need to contact customer support to obtain your Worker ID.
